Came to South Africa 1936. Secretary, of Companies. Past President and Hon, Life Vice- President, B'nai B'rith Lodge, Johannesburg. Representative of B'nai B'rith Lodge, on S.A. Jewish Board of Deputies for several years. Foundation member, Balfour Park Club. Married 1936, wife's name Herta: one daughter. Recreations: Bowls, bridge, reading and gardening.
