Was full-time Surgeon, Johannesburg group of hospitals, 1945-1950. Chairman, S.A. Smallholders' Association, 1952-1953. Member, Jewish Ex-Servicemen's League. Served with South African Forces in World War II. Full Blue in athletics and boxing, University of the Witwatersrand, 1935. Married Eugene Chod, 20th June, 1941; two daughters. Recreation: Farming.
