Previously, Head of Surgical Unit, Baragwanath Hospital, and Department of Surgery, University of Witwatersrand. Hon. Surgeon, University Dental and Oral Hospital 1948-56. Member of Temple Israel. Served as Captain in S.A.M.C., Middle East, and Voortrekkerhoogte during World War II. Recreations: golf, tennis, swimming. Married 1946, wife's name Holmes; two sons, two daughters.
