Member of the Cape Town Jewish Reform Congregation since 1944; member of Moths, S.A. Maccabi, S.A. Jewish Ex-Service League. Member, Crusader Memorial Sports Club. During World War II served with South African Forces in Umvoti Mounted Rifles; holds active service medals. Married Millie Kruyer, 1934; one daughter. Recreation: Bowls. Add.: 3d.
