LERER, Leib. Builder. Born Uzventis, Lithuania 25th May, 1909, son of Benjamin and Rose Lerer. Educated at Yeshivot in Kelm and Telz, Lithuania. Arrived S.A. August, 1929. Treasurer of Parow Hebrew Congregation, 1955-57; President, 1959-61. Served with South African Forces during World War II, Military Medal, Mentioned in Dispatches.
