BRAUDE, Aubrey. Attorney. Born Moscow, U.S.S.R., 5th October, 1920; son of Israel Meyer and Bessie Braude. Came to South Africa 1930. Educated Grey High School, Port Elizabeth. Director of several private companies. Member, United Hebrew Institution of Port Elizabeth, United Jewish Cultural Club, Hebrew Order of David; presently Chairman, Port Elizabeth Mental Health Society; former Chairman of the P.E. Zionist Youth Society; former Secretary, Men's Zionist Society. Member, Wedgewood Country Club, Old Grey Club. Served in the Second World War 1943-45 with the South African Air Force in the Middle East. Married Doris Ordman March 1946; one son, two daughters. Recreation: Golf.
