DURBACH, Solomon, Retired Farmer. Born Condow, Kurland, 24th February, 1884, son of Chatze Urie and Mirom Rasse Durbach. Came to South Africa 1902. Was a farmer, produce dealer and shop keeper in Clocolan, O.F.S., before retiring. Member of the Green and Sea Point Hebrew Congregation and was Treasurer of the Chevra Lomdei Torah for 9 years.
