Ltd. (Kupugani). Was hon. secretary, Pietermaritzburg Zionist Society, 1946-48, and Hebrew Congregation, 1948-49. Hon. president, Three Oaks Nursery School Society; vice-chairman, Federation of Natal Parents' Associations. Former chairman, Round Table, Pietermaritzburg. Served during World War II with S.A. Defence Forces, wounded in action. Married Pessa, daughter of Rev. A. H. Karpelowsky, 1948; two sons, one daughter. Recreations: Tennis, music, gardening. Add.: 14, Celtis Road, P.O.
