PINCUS, Thelma Sonia. Physiotherapist. Born Johannesburg, 21st June, 1921; daughter of Jacob and Rachel Leah Levin. Educated at Athlone High School and University of the Witwatersrand. A pioneer in the practice of Psycho-prophylaxis in Obstetrics in South Africa. Member, Johannesburg Women's Zionist League. Was a member of the Bloemfontein Marriage Guidance Council, 1958-1960 and an Executive member of the O.F.S. Provincial Women's Zionist League. Married Edward Morris Pincus, 20th December, 1942; two daughters, one son. Add.: 25 Escombe Avenue, Parktown, Johannesburg.
