Educated at South African College School, Cape Town and Hebrew Gymnasium, Jerusalem. Director, J. Miller Shippers (Pty.) Ltd. Chairman, Joseph Miller Benevolent Association; Society of Israel Philately; Council member, Zionist Revisionist Organisation. Member, Information Department, S.A. Zionist Federation. Between 1947 and 1952 was Provincial Chairman in Natal of United Zionist Revisionist Party. Hon. Treasurer, Durban Zionist Association; Hon. Secretary, Natal Zionist Council; Member, Council of Natal Jewry; Hon. Secretary, Jewish National Fund campaign and of the First Israeli United Appeal of the Natal Province. Hon. Treasurer, Johannesburg Philatelic Society. During World War II was member of Civilian Guard in Durban. Recreations: Philately, bowls.
