Between 1947 and 1952 was Provincial Chairman in Natal of United Zionist Revisionist Party. Hon. Treasurer, Durban Zionist Association; Hon. Secretary, Natal Zionist Council; Member, Council of Natal Jewry; Hon. Secretary, Jewish National Fund campaign and of the First Israeli United Appeal of the Natal Province. Hon. Treasurer, Johannesburg Philatelic Society. During World War II was member of Civilian Guard in Durban. Recreations: Philately, bowls.
