Member of the Vereeniging United Hebrew Institutions; President 1967, H.O.D., Nahum Sokolow Lodge, Vice-President 1966, Treasurer 1960-64; Secretary, 1958-59. Secretary, Vaal Accountants Luncheon Club, 1963; Vice-President, Junior Chamber of Commerce, 1962. During World War II served in S.A. Corps of Signals in Italy and Middle East. Member Maccauvlei Golf Club, Vereeniging Country Club, Houghton Golf Club, S.A. Jewish Ex-Service League and Foundation member of Balfour Park Club.
