STONE, Solomon. Died 1965. Manufacturer. Born Narva, Estonia 9th August, 1886, son of Mordechai and Zelda. Educated at Petrograd Gymnasium. Came to South Africa, 1909. Formerly Director of S. Stone & Sons (Pty.) Ltd. Life President, Claremont Hebrew Congregation. Member, Keurboom Sports Club. Married Sophia Ulfane, 1908; two sons, four daughters.
