SUCHARD, Rabbi. Shmuel Zadik. Born Johannesburg 4th July, 1939, son of Edward Tobias and Minnie Suchard. Educated at Parktown Boys' High School, Yeshiva College, Johannesburg, and Telshe Yeshiva, Cleveland, U.S.A. Took a prominent part in the Bnei Akivah Movement in Johannesburg. Married Rachel Spivack, 1964. Recreations: Reading and sport, swimming tennis, cricket, rugby, sprinting, boxing and running (won his colours and was Captain of Sports at Park- town High School in 1953). Presently lecturing at Telshe Yeshiva U.S.A.
