SUSMAN, Rabbi Emanuel. Born in Czechoslovakia. Came to South Africa 1958. Educated in Czechoslovakia and in England, where he obtained his Rabbinical Diploma in all the four Codes of Rabbinical Law. Rabbi of the Welkom Hebrew Congregation since 1962. Member of the Goldfields Mental Health Society (which incorporates Child Guidance), the Goldfields Red Cross, etc. Formerly Minister of the Bethlehem Hebrew Congregation and prior to coming to South Africa was Minister in Portsmouth, South Sea and London (England). Tutor for advanced studies in Semitics and Jewish Literature. Married Evelyn Ginsberg; two daughters., Add.: 4 Aalwyn Street, Welkom, O.F.S.
