Educated at Parktown Convent, Johannesburg, and Witwatersrand University.
Formerly Lecturer in the Department of Economics and Economic History,
Witwatersrand University. Council member, S.A. Institute of Race Relations.
Recipient of U.S. State Department Leader Award, 1962. Member of United Hebrew
Congregation, Johannesburg; Union of Jewish Women; Jewish Women's Benevolent
and Welfare Society. During World War II served as Statistician to the War
Supplies Board. Member of Wanderers Golf Club, Glendower Club, Transvaal
Automobile Club. Married Dr. M. M. Suzman, 1937; two daughters. Recreations:
