TRAKMAN, Yehuda (Julius). Hebrew Teacher and Youth Leader. Born Bloemfontein 16th January, 1928, son of Nathan and Beilla Trakman. Educated at Grey College, Bloemfontein, and Rabbi J. L. Zlotnik Seminary, Johannesburg. Principal Welkom Hebrew School; and Youth Leader, Welkom Hebrew Congregation; also conductor of choir; previously taught at Bloemfontein Hebrew School, 1955-63. Trained in youth leadership in Israel 1946-47, and lived on a kibbutz, 1949-52. Married Adele Miriam Kruss, 1955; one son, two daughters. Add.: Now living in Israel.
