TREISMAN, Oswald Selwyn, M.B., B.Ch. (Rand.), M.R.C.O.G. (London). Gynaecologist and Obstetrician. Born Amersfoort, 4th May, 1923; son of Henry and Rebecca Treisman. Educated at King Edward VII High School, Johannesburg and University of the Witwatersrand. Member of the United Hebrew Congregation (Wolmarans Street Synagogue). Fought in the Israeli War of Independence, 1948-49. Married Ziona Gordon, 1962; two daughters. Add.: 43 First Avenue, Houghton, Johannesburg.
