Managing Director of Van der Veen & Hearn (Pty.) Ltd. Previously was in advertising and promotion, particularly in women's fashion trade. Well-known as compere and organiser of fashion shows. Member of United Progressive Jewish Congregation of Johannesburg and of various communal organisations. During World War II served in Netherland Navy (1941-1945).
