WEIL, Alfred. Sales Representative. Born Eschwege, Germany, 22nd April, 1913; son of Eduard and Hedwig Weil. Educated in Germany. Came to South Africa 1933. Member of Montagu Country Club. During World War II served with S.A Forces in East and North Africa; was taken prisoner of war in 1942 at Tobruk, escaped in Italy in 1943, joined Italian Partisans, 1943-45.
