WILTON, Jack, M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.R.C.P. (Lon.), F.R.C.S.
(Edin)., F.I.C.S. Surgeon. Born Johannesburg, 17th December, 1910; son of
Barney and Rose Wilton. Educated at Marist Brothers' College, Johannesburg,
University of the Witwatersrand and St. Mary's Hospital, London. Served as
Assistant Surgeon, Fulham Hospital, London, 1937-1940; Registrar, Johannesburg
General Hospital 1945-1948; Clinical Tutor in Surgery, 1945-1948. Member of
Johannesburg Jewish Progressive Congregation. During World War II was Major in
S.A.M.C. Subsequently served as Lt. Col. and Consulting Surgeon in Israeli Army.
Consulting Surgeon: Rietfontein Hospital; Modderfontein Hospital; Witpoort
Hospital. Married Osna Susman, 4th July, 1943; two sons, two daughters. Add.:
45 Melrose Street, Melrose, Johannesburg.
