Director of Longford Investments and Dunbarton investments. Previously was in practice in Bethal, Member Central Committee of the 1923-1941. Member I. U. A., and Chairman of the Medical Section. Chairman, International Society for the Welfare of the Handicapped. S.A. Vice-Chairman, Happiness for the Handicapped. Vice-Chairman, Goodwill Industries. Member, Old Edwardians. During World War II was Major in S.A.M.C. and Medical Advisor to Director General of Demobilisation. Received United Nations' Fellowship, 1957, for work on Rehabilitation and Sheltered Employment. Married Sarah Ellen Soloveitzig, 27th October, 1930; one son, two daughters. Recreations: Bowls, bridge, philately, collection of cacti and succulents.
