YARRON, Nuri, B.A. (Hon.). Educationist. Born Rome Italy, 8th December, 1929, son of Dr. Uachum and Zila Labunsky. Educated at High School in Israel, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Universities of Lon- don (King's College), Liverpool and Oxford (Wadham College). Came to South Africa 1958. Formerly Principal of the Sydenham-Highlands North Hebrew School, Johannesburg. Previously Inspector of Schools. Students' Adviser and Director of Youth Activities in Mexico, U.S.A. and England. Now Personnel Officer Olivetti Africa (Pty) Ltd. Correspondent for over- seas papers. Member, Board of S.A. Judo Federation. Served in Israel's War of Independence and in the Sinai campaign as Lieutenant in the Israel Defence Force. Recreations: Judo, chess, music.
