Born Cape Town 21st June, 1902, son of Harry and Grace Zamek. Educated at first
Cape Town Jewish School and Fransch Hoek College. Member, Cape Town Jewish
Reform Congregation and Temple Brotherhood. Secretary, Glen Country Club
Bowling Section and Lions Club of Sea Point; Commander of Shell Hole
(M.O.T.H.S.). During World War II served in S.A. Air Force in East Africa,
Middle East and Italy; was taken prisoner of war for three years. Married 1948,
wife's name Lilian; one son, two daughters. Recreations: Bowls, communal
