Educated at Erasmus High School, Bronkhorstspruit; University of Cape Town; Massachusetts Institute of Technology (U.S.A.). Head of Engineering Research Department, Iscor. Chairman, Pretoria Jewish Community Council since 1961. Member of Carmel Primary School Board, 1962-63; Chairman, Pretoria United Communal Fund Campaign, 1962-63. Contributes to technical journals and co-author of a textbook. Married Priscilla Kharfen, 1952; two sons, one daughter. Add.: 86, Julius Jeppe Street, Waterkloof, Pretoria.
