ZOLIN, Nachum. Director of Companies. Born Lithuania, 24th August, 1920, son of David and Esther Zolin. Educated in Lithuania at Yeshiva. Came to South Africa 1948. Monumental Mason and Photographer. Previously was Manager of photo- graphic firm "Elta", in Lithuania. Secretary and Convener of the Quarry Owners and Master Masons' Association. Committee member, Vredehoek Hebrew Congregation, and Sons of Israel Society, Cape Town, During World War II he was in concentration camp in Rassein, Lithuania, in 1941; when he was liberated he fought as a Partisan.
