Educated at Athlone High School, Johannesburg, and the University of the Witwatersrand. Formerly was Chief Accountant in clothing industry and real estate. Member of Board of Directors, Johannesburg City Ballet; was Treasurer, 1962-66. Member, Life Assurance Underwriters of S.A. Committee member, Witwatersrand Jewish Aged Home, 1965-66; Chairman of its Young People's Group, and Chairman of its Entertainment Committee, 1962-1965. Member, United Hebrew Congregation (Wolmarans Street Synagogue) and of various Jewish organisations. Member, Transvaal Automobile Club, Players' Club. Has done theatrical work both overseas and locally and has appeared in theatres in West End of London and in films. Now acts in honorary capacity for promotion of theatre and allied arts. Married Rhoda Jankelowitz, 20th January, 1957; one son, one daughter. Recreations: Swimming, theatre, arts. Add.: 52 Fourth Street, Lower Houghton; P.O. Box 1097, Johannesburg.
