Educated at Selborne College, East London, and University of Cape Town. President, Border Branch, Medical Association of S.A., 1945 and 1960. Mayor of Komga, 1946-47; Deputy District Governor (Eastern Cape) of Lions International. Member, East London Hebrew Congregation; member, East London Club and Lions' Club of East London. During World War II served with S.A. Forces; awarded S.A. War Medal for services as liaison officer and Medical Officer to forces in Komga District. Married Rae Dembovsky, 23rd December, 1935; two sons, one daughter. Recreation: Golf. Add.: 66 St. James Road, East London.
