SEIGEL, Samuel. Attorney and Notary Public. Born Heidelberg
29th May, 1907, son of Abraham Louis and Chana Seigel. Educated at Standerton
High School. One of the founders and first leaders of the Standerton Young
Israel Society; Secretary and President for many years of the Standerton Hebrew
Congregation. Resident in Standerton for 57 years, and oldest member of
Standerton Hebrew Congregation. Member, Standerton Country Club. Married the
late Pearl Benjamin, 1931; one son. Remarried in 1964 to Helen Friedland of
Johannesburg. Recreations: Golf and bowls. Add.: 46, Caledon Street, P.O. Box
