Committee member, Medical Association of South Africa, 1961-64; Radiology Society of South Africa, 1959-1966; Press Liaison Committee, Medical Association of S.A., 1962-66. Member of United Hebrew Congregations, Johannesburg; member of Houghton Golf Club, Maccauvlei Golf Club. During World War II served in S.A. Medical Corps, 11th Field Ambulance, Middle East and Italy. Numerous publications in local and overseas medical journals. Married Enid Braun, 21st September, 1945; one son, two daughters. Add.: 19 Third Avenue, Lower Houghton, Johannesburg.
