SHAPIRO, Solomon Henoch, M.B., Ch.B. Medical Practitioner. Born Germiston, 14th June, 1915; son of Harry and Sophie Shapiro. Educated at Potchefstroom Boys' High School and University of the Witwatersrand. Director of Harolds-Pats Organisation, Potchefstroom. Chairman of Lichtenburg Hebrew Congregation, succeeding his father (who was Chairman from 1924-1953) in 1954. Member of Stewardby Bowling Club. Member of Rotary and a Mason.
