SHOCHAT, Moses Israel. Outfitter and General Dealer. Born Dvinsk, Latvia, 24th March, 1925, son of Simon and Betty Schochat. Came to South Africa 1928. Educated at Worcester Boys' High School. Committee member, Worcester Hebrew Congregation, 1951-64; Chairman, Worcester Zionist Society, 1960- 63. Member Worcester Golf Club and MO.T.H's. Timrad Shellhole. During World War II served with S.A. Air Force in North Africa and Italy. Married Jeannette Goodleser, 1953; two sons, two daughters. Recreations: Golf, reading. Add.: 1, Stockenstrom Street, P.O.
