SINGER, Barney, C.A. (S.A.) Born South West Africa, son of Joseph and Bertha Singer. Educated at South African College School and University of Cape Town, Chairman Poalei Zion Cape Town since 1963. Member Western Province Zionist Council since 1953 and member of its Executive Committee. Chairman Western Province Jewish National Fund Committee since 1966. Additional deputy S.A. Jewish Board of Deputies (Cape Council) and a member of its communal relations committee. Member Cape Board of Jewish Education since 1966. Member of I.U.A. Planning committee and of the United Communal Fund Cape Council. Former Chairman Cape Zionist Youth Executive, Poalei Zion Youth and Youth I.U.A. campaign.
