SLONIMSKY, Joav Simon. Director of Companies. Born Jaffa, Palestine, 24th April, 1900, son of Joseph Myer and Freida Slonimsky. Educated in Jaffa. Came to South Africa 1922. Managing Director, Slim's (Pty.) Ltd., and Summerstrand Hotel (Pty.) Ltd., Port Elizabeth. During World War II served with S.A. Artillery, 5th Field Regiment, in Middle East. Married Nehema Josephson, 1924; one son, two daughters. Add.: Summerstrand Hotel, Marine Drive.
