SMITH Herbert Morris (Harry). Retired businessman. Born Weksnia, Lithuania 1887; son of Fivel and Pia Smith. Educated in Lithuania, Came to South Africa 1904. Chairman of Thaba Nchu Hebrew Congregation, on the Executive of which he has served for over thirty-five years. During World War II was member of N.V.R.
