ROSEN, David. Teacher of Hebrew. Born Lithuania 1st
September, 1900, son of Joseph and Sarah Rosen. Educated at Hebrew Seminar in
Russia. Came to South Africa 1927. Hebrew Teacher at United Hebrew Schools for
31 years, now on staff of Herzlia Jewish Day School. First wife, Mrs. Chaya
Rosen, died in 1942. Married Cielie Rose in 1946; two daughters. Add.: 6,
Bellevue Road, Sea Point, Cape Town.
