Educated at Athlone High School, Johannesburg, and University of the Witwatersrand. President, Life Underwriters' Association of Southern Africa. Life member, Million Dollar Round Table. During World War II served as a pilot and was in action over North Africa and Italy. Member, Transvaal Automobile Club, Killarney Golf Club and Circle Golf Club, Durban.
