Head of the Hebrew Department, King David High School, Victory Park, Johannesburg, 1964-65. Joint Secretary of the Rabbinical Council of South Africa; executive member, 1965- 66. Member of the King David Primary School Parent- Teachers Association; Chairman of the Cyrildene Hebrew Congregation, 1957-58; Chairman, Mountain View I.U.A. 1958.
