RUTSTEIN, Morris. Director of Companies. Born Poland 11th January, 1912, son of Louis and Lieba Rutstein. Educated at Vilna Teachers' Training College. Came to South Africa 1932. Was Hebrew teacher before entering commerce. Director of Stag Breweries Limited, Main Street Liquor Holdings (Pty.) Ltd., and associated companies in Africa and Rhodesia. Commissioner of Oaths. One of the founders of the Histadrut Ivrith and its Chairman for many years. President, Hebrew Movement of South Africa. During World War II was sub-inspector of Civic Guards, in charge of staff, Western Area. Member, Killarney Club. Married Yetta Kerzner, 1939; one son, one daughter. Recreation: Golf.
