SAACKS, Abraham. Died 1967. Born Rietavas, Lithuania, 15th July, 1884, son of Sabsel and Liebe Saacks. Educated in Lithuania. Came to South Africa about 1902. Past President, Maitland Brooklyn Hebrew Congregation. Married Freda Sieff, 1913; two sons, two daughters.
