Chairman, Industrial Council for the Liquor and Catering Trade, Natal South Coast; Past President of Rotary Club of Margate, Margate Chamber of Commerce, Margate Bowling Club. Secretary Lower South Coast Hebrew Congregation. During World War II served with 4th Brigade Signal Coy., captured at Tobruk, prisoner of war for three years. Recreation: Bowls.
