Jewish Ex-Service League; Councillor, Cape Town Jewish Reform Congregation, 1950-62; committee member, Cape Town Jewish Orphanage, 1960-62; delegate to Board of Deputies 1958-62. W.P. Zionist Revisionist Council, 1962-64. Author of "Law, Procedure and Conduct of Meetings in South Africa." During World War II served with U.D.F. as Information and Intelligence Officer in Middle East, North Africa and Italy. Assistant Military Law Officer, G.H.Q.
