Came to South Africa 1935. Branch Manager of Medical Distributors (Pty.) Ltd. Was formerly Director of Union Medical Supplies (Pty) Ltd. Member of Cape Town Progressive Jewish Reform Congregation; Brotherhood of Temple Israel, Cape Town. Member of Keurboom Sports Club. During World War II was member of Coastal Defence Corp. 1940- 1943. Married Gerda Fliess, 23rd October, 1938; one son, two daughters. Recreations: Music, bowls.
