Head of the Department of Physical Medicine, Johannesburg General Hospital; Head, sub-departments Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, University of the Witwatersrand, and the Department of Physical Medicine, Witwatersrand Jewish Aged Home, Sandringham. Member of Medical Committee of Zionist Federation. In Second World War served with S.A.M.C. as Major. In 1950 led S.A. Physical Medicine team to Israel to help cope with poliomyelitis epidemic.
