Vice-President and Past President, United Hebrew Schools of Johannesburg; Committee Member, S.A. Board of Jewish Education; Past Chairman, Yeoville Hebrew Congregation; Member, Transvaal Automobile Club; Observatory Golf Club. During World War II was in National Volunteer Brigade, 1940-45.
