Director of Lubners' Retail Furnishers Organisation. Chairman, Furniture Executive; Senior Vice-Chairman, S.A. Traders' Executive; Furniture Retailers' Association. Member, United Hebrew Congregation, Hebrew Order of David, Maccabi and various welfare organisations. Served with South African Forces in World War II - joined South African Forces 1940, attached to 61st Tunnelling Company, served in Lebanon, Palestine and Egypt.
