MALKIN, Morris. Merchant. Born Skoudas, Lithuania, 27th October, 1897, son of Nochum and Hinde Malkinson. Educated in Russia. Came to South Africa 1914. Previously was Stockbroker at Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Treasurer, United Hebrew Schools, 1944-48; Vice-Chairman, 1950; Vice-President since 1960 and Hon. Life member United Hebrew Congregation since 1956. Warden of Yeoville Synagogue till 1957, now Senior Warden of Cyrildene-Observatory Synagogue. Married Deborah Levy, 1926; one son, one daughter.
