Educated at Augustiner Schule, Friedberg, and Universities of Frankfurt and Munich. Came to South Africa 1936. Member of the Council of Administration of Commerce of South Africa. Formerly Magistrate, later Advocate at Court of Appeal, Frankfurt a Main, Germany. Married Doris Neumaier, 29th August, 1929; one daughter. Recreation: Stamp collecting.
