Educated at Rhenish Girls High School and University of Stellenbosch. Was
Probation Officer 1947, attached to Department of Social Welfare, Bloemfontein.
Vice-Chairman, previously Chairman, Bloemfontein Jewish Women's Benevolent
Society (committee member for 14 years); assistant to Chevra Kadisha for last
rites. Regular contributor to S.A. Broadcasting Corporation's programme
"Die Jongspan" since 1961. Member, Orangia Bowling Club and Ramblers
Club. Recreation: writing (Afrikaans children's stories) and reading. Married
