Member, Port Elizabeth Hebrew Congregation. Served with South African Forces during World War II, captured at Tobruk 1942, P.O.W. Italy and Germany. Member, Wedgwood Park Country Club, Old Grey Club, M.O.T.H.'s. Married Beryl Ann Lowenthal, 24th May, 1951; two sons, one daughter. Recreation: golf.
